What a great day for our #LawtonPS female wrestlers!! Lawton High sophomore Teyanna Fields (125 lbs.) was the first ever LHS wrestler and second in Lawton history to make the High School State Tournament. At tonight's Regionals, she was joined by Eisenhower High senior Kayla Lyles (100 lbs.). Kayla went 3-2 in the tournament to qualify for next weekend's State tournament and is just the second female at Ike to do so. Teyanna finished 4-1 to get 3rd and qualify! Mrs. Howard was presented with the Mayor's Certificate of Recognition for her dedication to serve the students as the Pioneer Park Elementary crossing guard at today's City of Lawton council meeting.
