MacArthur High School students conduct a dress rehearsal for their production of “The Lion King”. The play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and Dec. 15. The musical is a collaboration between MHS drama, tech theatre and vocal music, with choreography from MacArthur Middle School and the stomp team. Tickets are $10 for the general public, $5 for LPS students and staff with ID and those 5 and under are free. This is the first production in the newly renovated auditorium. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed

Crews from Southern Bleacher Co. begin installing bleachers on the east side of the Lawton High School football field on Tuesday. The bleachers, which will seat 750 people and include a press box, will be primarily for fans of visiting schools when LHS hosts football games. Thanksgiving Break
The three fifth grade classes at Woodland Hills Elementary School donated 25 Thanksgiving food baskets to the Veterans Service Center on Nov. 19. Each basket also included a $10 gift card so recipients can buy perishable food items. The Veterans Service Center will add turkey and ham to the baskets, which will be given to veterans, active duty service members and community members. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed
